The word Kapu indicates something is sacred or forbidden although in Polynesian culture it also carries the meanings of "keep out", "no trespassing", "sacred", "consecrated", or "holy". It would have been common to post this on sacred lands of the property of the king. The Hawaiian Islands were originally named by Captain James Cook in honor of the 4th Earl of Sandwich. The South Sandwich Islands are a chain of volcanic islands in the South Atlantic Ocean, part of the South Georgia and the South Sandwich Islands British Overseas Territory.

Your new heavyweight tee will show a map of those beautiful Hawaiian islands on the back and a coordinating image on the front of the shirt. Available in a few different colors, you will want a couple for your own collection.

This is the Classic Fit version which is our best selling crew neck t-shirt. It is oversized and heavyweight. Be sure to check out the fit guides to make sure you are getting the right size. Made of 100% cotton, the shirt still will not shrink. The garment dye process shrinks and compacts the fabric so your shirt will fit the same from the first day to the last.
